Celebrate Public Power Week with us!

Algoma Utilities is celebrating the importance of public power October 4th thru 8th, along with more than 2,000 other electric utilities that collectively provide electricity on a nonprofit basis to 45 million Americans. We invite community members to participate in a variety of Public Power Week activities including:

  • Algoma Utilities will be collecting items for the local food pantries. This year the pantries are in need of toiletry & cleaning items. Donations can be brought to the Algoma Utilities office. Customers who drop off items will receive a gift for their donation.
  • Register to win door prizes! Fill out the form on your yellow bill insert you received in September or stop by our office.
  • Please remember, this is the week to pick up your items for those customers who ordered energy conservation products during the month of July.
